Interaction Situation
Robot is active, but there is currently no need or wish from the user’s side for interaction. The robot can therefore retreat to a position where it is not in the way of and divert its attention away from the user. It changes from active to inactive.
Solution
Let the robot express that:
- The transition from the state of being Ready to Inside Turn through a dynamic change of posture.
- The transition from Attentive to Passively available through a smooth movement around the room.
- Its operation mode is <on> setting the status light to permanently glowing. (Operation mode On)
Optionally:
- Make the process of disabling some functionalities explicit by a sound jingle (Going to sleep)
