Getting ready to play

Indicating the initiation of the start of game in a playful, positive, and motivating way combines two aspects: indicating the preparation / loading of the game and expressing positive anticipation. The preparation of a digital game only requires internal processing of the robot, no visible action. Similarly, to other technological devices, the robot must indicate to the user that the preparation process is in progress, e.g. through a progress bar or loading spinner. At the same time, positive emotions can be expressed by visualizing the loading process with warm and bright colors and / or a circular motion. Alternatively, ascending sounds have been shown to be associated with positive emotion.
